TULSA WEATHER

The weather in Kansas City in the early Spring is very unpredictable.  One day it is 70 degrees and the next it could be 30 with snow.  Melissa and I have been in Tulsa for a few days now and it has been absolutely wonderful weather.  Today, a high of 68, tomorrow will have a high of 73.  I have been watching Kansas City's weather and it has been in the 40's!  WooHoo!  What a week to come down to the great city of Tulsa.  You can wake up and know it is going to be a nice day and not worry about whether or not Jack Frost is going to try to assert himself again.  This city is very nice and if I had to choose between the two, based solely on weather, I'm sorry Missouri, but Oklahoma would be home.  These are thoughts I've had.  I think they are symptoms of what is commonly known as Spring Fever.  Call the doctor!  I've got a bad case of it.

  1. {March 3, 2011} “I believe there’s an epidemic going around” one observer stated. This ailment, known commonly as “Spring Fever” is affecting the minds of a great majority of SKC & Grandview. There have been reports of people actually stating they would prefer to live in Tulsa rather than the beautiful & industrious town of SKC and the surrounding districts. Also it has been seen that people are opening all the windows of their house in 42 degree weather, due to this ailment (thankfully, that was promptly ordered to a halt, and it has been observed that the windows are now shut). Snow boots have vanished off front porches and in their place, pairs of flip-flops have appeared. Until given further notice, the residents of SKC/Grandview must refrain from checking the weather for any other towns so that they will become thankful once again for the beautiful weather they are actually receiving. All doctors must also be on call at all times in order to offer assistance to those suffering from “Spring Fever”

  3. I liked what you wrote Mr. G. and Amy! I think I've got spring fever pretty bad, also.

I like the part "Also it has been seen that people are opening all the windows of their house in 42 degree weather, due to this ailment (thankfully, that was promptly ordered to a halt, and it has been observed that the windows are now shut)." When you are normally having temperatures around 10 degrees, and then it shoots up to 42, how could you not resist opening the windows?!
